Stop Loss

If you are in the mood for a gritty Texas movie with sweaty men and average looking woman who are made more attractive because they are wearing tight jeans and a cowboy hat and are hammered drunk, and if you miss BlackHawk Down, this is the film for you. All kidding aside, I wish Channing Tatum could control his emotions a little better. He basically goes from angry to happy like a roid induced rage. At least he doesn't wear his shirt in the movie a lot, which is where he really shines. It's sad that they got this cast to tell this story, because it truly is an important one. It's not that they were bad, it's that no one cares because it is an MTV movie. Most people that watch this movie will be watching for the eye candy, not the incredibly moving war story and few will stand up and act after the story plays out. It DOES make you proud of the men and women who fight for our countries, but it also makes you very sad that they are put in these positions.
