Across The Universe

Great. This is what a musical should be like. And on the plus side, they didn't have to write a single song. Great acting. Evan Rachel Wood and Jim Sturgess both have promising careers in front of them based on the fact that they are great actors, and are both really beautiful. For the first time ever, Bono ruins something. The whole I am the Walrus scene gave me seizures, which I guess it was intended to. And the little milk colored Yoko Ono lookalikes give me nightmares. In general, interesting idea, well acted, beautifully filmed and if all else fails... Evan Rachel Wood!!!!!

2 1/2 Donairs.

I look forward to seeing this one. I missed it when it came out. If it turns out I do not like it, you owe me 2 hours of my life back!

I concur. I love musicals, but the whole Walrus scene required an advance warning to take some drugs. I also agree on the Bono comment, it could have been omitted completely without affecting the story, coo coo ca choo. I too was pleasantly surprised by the leading lady, but mostly because I now understand why she's Marilyn Manson's newest muse. haha. :)

Whoa. I super hated this movie. I thought it was horribly literal. I expected more. And I also think ERW is a but'er face. Sorry dude.
